There are many convincing arguments in favour of using recycled fertilisers:

  • compatible with existing fertiliser machines
  • easy and safe to use
  • with a known nutrient content so you can trust them
  • recycled products that replace synthetic fertilisers
  • freely available
  • sustainable, local products (unlike rock phosphate and potash which are finite resources)
  • increased value of nitrogen from animal manure
  • fertiliser products with a low carbon footprint
  • pollution-free thanks to strict regulation and certification schemes
